I had a deeply frustrating experience at the AdventHealth Winter Garden lab. I use a wheelchair, and the accessibility problems here were not minor. At check-in, the staff member remained seated behind a high counter where I could not see her, then complained that she could not hear me. That is an absurd way to interact with a patient, especially in a medical setting that should understand basic accessibility. Everyone was wonderful, helpful from the security guard, reception staff and medical staff. Made my experience easier. Operating room staff was very respectful and caring. One staff member, Andrew was great. Before my procedure had difficult preparation. I would not have made it without him, kept me informed, comforted me, held my hand, wonderful young man!
