If you have to been hospitalized this is the place to come. The negatives have to do with the corporation that built/ planned/ owns the hospital etc., not with the Doctors, Nurses and medical assistants. The emergency department does what should have been a standard practice years ago. Dr., Nurses, Labs/techs, and then Admin. Steve in ED is awesome. I had a major colon procedure done and stayed in the hospital for five days. I have never had such a pleasant hospital experience. The entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful and went out of their way for me. What could have been a very scary and anxiety filled experience turned out to be quite comfortable. The hospital visit was nice but how they bill patients for the hospital visit after is terrible. My boyfriend went to the ER last month which was roughly $600 and a few days ago we got a letter in the mail from a physician group that saw us saying that we were being charge a outpatient visit another $600. We were only there for 3 hours and we paid the hospital bill when we left. This hospital will charge you at least 2 times for the hospital visit and the physician or PA seeing you in the hospital so get ready to pay a lot o... read more
I had the worst experience at this hospital ever, my mother is having shortness of breath and they left her in a hallway, her nurse never came to check on her EVER. I'm asking the nurses what the issue is and they say that she's not the only patient , yes I understand that it's busy but a breathing issue should not be taken lightly.
2 hour wait in the ER. 3 patients waiting. Not impressed.
Thanks to ER staff, ICU professionals and everyone who cared for my sweetheart during a 3-day stay, following a seizure. We'll be eternally grateful.
