I was referred to a surgeon after my OB diagnosed me with severe diastasis recti at my 6-week postpartum visit. Unfortunately, my appointment with Vijay Ferris, MD was very disappointing. He was dismissive of my concerns, cut me off before I could fully explain my symptoms, and suggested I simply needed to lose weight before even examining me. Canceled my surgery because I didn't have a ride home. Wouldn't let me take Uber home .The dr. Knew this didn't tell me. The other problem. I had called their advent hotline to change my phone number. When I went to the office I again gave them the new number. When they sent my certificate of surgery they used the old phone number.
