Front desk staff was rude on and off the phone. This is the first experience you have with a doctor’s office, and it needs to be positive—especially for people with chronic pain. These appointments are frequently frustrating due to a lack of knowledge of the disease, so kindness and comfortability need be priority. I have been trying to get care from this office for over eight months, with four separate referrals sent from different providers. Despite having documented arthritis in my cervical spine, mid-back, lower back, hip, and jaw — along with a positive ANA and significant weight loss — I was repeatedly denied timely treatment. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had at any clinic. Dr. O could seem to care less about what I was going through, and it's really terrifying reading all these one-star reviews now. I wish I had checked these out before going in. What a waste of time. My wife has had bad joint pain for years. We first saw an Osteo Md and he gave us a referral to see the Rheumatologist at Advent. I called to make an appointment and was told to wait until we received a call. We waited for 2 weeks and no one called. I called and was told by Destiny (the receptionist) that the Rheumatologist reviewed the referral and that he wouldn’t give us an appointment and that we needed to go elsewhere. The one star is for the receptionist and nurse who were very nice. The doctor was rude and it was a total waste of time. Her sarcasm is to be left undesired. People do not come to the doctor for this kind of treatment. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. She obviously doesn’t like her job. It shows. I walked out without even checking out, it was that bad.
