He postponed my surgery twice so it took 5 months from my office visit until surgery. Severe spinal stenosis. After my 6 hour surgery he went on vacation. 2 days later I had another 8 hr surgery to fix what he didn’t fix the first time. In hospital 26 days. Now it’s been 4 months of agony. Lost my job. Wife has cancer. Can’t help her in recovery because the pain is so severe. Can never get an appt without waiting weeks. Still has no answers. He has ruined my life and my wife’s life. He DOES NOT CARE!!
I left the hospital worse than when I went in, do not trust Dr. Frederick Vinas. He is not an honest doctor, he ruined my spine after a minor surgery. No one in their clinical office was helpful when I pleaded for them to admit me less than a week post surgery. Deloris told me to wait and nurse Sciotto blatantly neglected my symptoms. DO NOT GET SURGERY WITH Dr. Frederick Vinas. He is a hack.

I was referred to Dr. Vinas because of the extreme pain I was having in my legs. He studied my MRI and other tests and said that he could help me with minor surgery. I am 84 and I came through with flying colors and am now out of pain! I think that Dr. Vinas is fantastic, highly recommend him and his staff.
On August 17, 2022 Dr. Vinas saved my life. I asked my wife to take me to the Advent Hospital Emergency Room in Daytona Beach. My head felt like it was being squeezed by a vice. After being admitted, the emergency room attending physician immediately ordered a Cat Scan. Much to our surprise 30 minutes later we received the news that my headache was due to a Subdural Hematoma with a 10mm shift of my brain on the left side of my head. Dr Vinas saved my life. He operated on me and put a shunt in my brain to drain the fluid from my brain and it completely turned me into my old self after not wanting to go on.
On a Sunday nite It was determined at the ER that my husband had a large subdural hematoma. Dr. Vinas was sent the CT result and my husband was transferred by ambulance to the hospital where Dr. Vinas came and saw him on a Sunday nite. He performed brain Surgery the next morning . His care and compassion saved my husband's life.
