Pros- Pine trees & grass patches for dogs Cons- Cockroaches, no AC, inconsistent temp in shower (randomly turns into hell or the ice age), no lights in living or bed rooms, limited counter space, old/deteriorating materials, no in-unit laundry ($2 per wash), delays in refilling dog poop bags & trash pickup Everything else is average to below. Would recommend elsewhere.
I toured this place with Margo, she is one of the leasing managers there. The place looks solid from a first look. Margo was very helpful during the tour, she has great energy, customer skills, and knowdledge of the place. I will consider my options...
Beautiful property! Maintenance Ricky and Paul work hard, had a leak late at night, they came out immediately and got it taken care of! Thank you for all you do! Liz is outstanding, always polite and helpful!
Moved in early March, there has been some hiccups but I do see the staff trying to turn things around, they can't help that some residents don't want to take accountability for the damages they cause. Office staff has been amazing, they help in every way possible. Shout out to Liz! She's always by herself working but always so positive! They have a new guy cleaning the property and he has it looking so much better.
If you don't mind dealing with the worst maintenance and management, Advenir at Bear Valley is great for you! Requests take far too long to be addressed, and when problems come up, the responsibility is often pushed back onto residents instead of being handled properly. Basic amenities that are advertised as part of the property are not always reliable, and getting them repaired or replaced can be a very frustrating process.
