Stole our money for a holding fee and then told us they never had a holding fee! Unbelievable, I'm glad we only filled out applications and didn't actually sign a lease.

DO NOT RENT HERE! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED I moved here a year ago. Every month you get slapped with fees (exterminator fees, and having to pay for the leasing office's electricity etc.) and everything is always broken. The gym is awful, the pool is always dirty or closed, and has even made me sick. I have seen multiple inspections in a week, just because they can't get it together. We rented apartment 112 at this community in 2014. The community is beautiful and previously, I used to live in the apartment across from Reserve i.e. Enclave at Woodbridge. I was excited when we rented the apartment because the view and construction is an eye candy. However, once we moved into the apartment, I quickly learnt that all that glitters is not gold. I lived here for a year and had no issues during that time. However, on move-out is when they screw you. Although carpet replacement between tenants is a standard thing, they charged me for that. I kept my apartment clean and well-kept. My $500 pet deposit was shown as only $200 pet deposit on my final statement. The biggest issue I had, however, was that after moving out having paid all the rent they said I owed and settling all financial obligations, they then came up with a listing of fees which they NEVER billed me for, ... read more

This is without a doubt the worst place I have ever lived. The buildings are old and not well cared for, They do not treat the common areas for your pets so the flea problem is out of control. I've never seen the exterminator and not sure we even have one. At one time or another I've had roaches, spiders, ants, rats, bats and snakes in my apartment. Living in a tent might be a better choice! Rats, bats, roaches, fleas are common and out of control. New owners in 2011 could care less. The "renovated" apartments are not worth the high rent. Cheap new cabinets don't make up for the crumbling walls, windows that don't seal, screens that don't fit, water leaks, mold, mildew, peeling paint and nasty swimming pools. I have been here for 4 yrs now (starting paying $820 & now want $1000)for what nothing has changed things have gotten worse ..My own stupidly for staying as long as I have!!!! Thought when the new owners bought the complex things would get better but just seem to be going down hill. You can find nicer places at the same price in venice, they charge you for the water, butdon't read the meteer most of the time. They make you insure their property, you have to get a $100,000 liability policy to cover damage to their property, I have never had to do that at any place I have lived in over 30 years. You pay cable as well and the living room is small, you have so few cupboards, you don't have room for anything, the bathrooms are tiny as are the bedrooms, don't have a king size bed. I have been here for over a year and never have any maintanance problem or roaches problem in my apartment....the office staff is very helpful and i love it!!!!
