This credit union is trash. I've had a checking and savings account with them for over a decade. Every time I need a loan though, they find some excuse to deny it, even though I have good credit. When I needed a home mortgage loan they denied it. I went to a different lender and was approved with a better interest rate. When I tried to increase my credit limit, they fought me over and over until finally approving. When I wanted to do a cash out refinance, they denied again. No outdoor ATM! Lame
Staff are always helpful and friendly. We have used multiple branches, and currently bank at the Fremont branch. I really don't understand the other negative reviews I see here; we've been Advantis customers since the early 90s, and have always had excellent service. Rates are better than almost any bank I have investigated. Besides, a credit union (any credit union, for that matter) is a much better consumer option than a bank.
