Been a long time member at Rivermark and Unitus before the merger. The merger was awful. Didn’t have access for a week because I was one of their members they had to merge accounts. The quality of service continues to decline day by the day. I came in for the most simple of thing - change two 20s and fifteen 1s for 5s and 10s. I was asked if I had an account then directed to the Max Headroomesque Video Teller. They then needed my ID, apparently my Rivermark DEBIT Card wasn’t enough for them. I have only good things to say about Tivermark and the Woodstock branch. Everyone has always been super helpful, professional and kind. I feel truly supported by my local, community-based credit union. I just don’t see why would anyone bank elsewhere, especially at mega banks that are so often reported for fraud or exploitative practices. Rivermark is truly a gem. Thank you!!
Went in because my card randomly stopped working. Talked to Finley— she was quite loud about my account… stating my denials on my account.. failed charges, etc (which is why I was there because my card wasn’t working). it was an uncomfortable experience. it is extremely unprofessional to have such a lack of respect for privacy for customers.
