Edit: had to come back here after ticking noise wasn’t resolved. After leaving my truck here for three more days they claimed it was the belts and tensioners, so had them replaced for $1500 (actually I’m sure they just reused the tensioners and swapped belts). Of course the engine ticks on 😂 Also they invented an issue with my turbo charge air cooler, said it needed the boot and clamps replaced, another $1000 for this. Popped in here with a ticking noise started after I had injectors replaced at Vanguard in Houston. Couple mechanics came out immediately and checked it out, told me valve adjustment likely improperly done. They got on it first thing in the morning and had me out the door shortly after lunch, still in time to go pick up my load and hit the road. Thank you guys
I went to two different services for my semi-truck because after changing the battery, the dashboard was full of codes, the transmission service light was flashing, and no one could figure out the problem. Both places couldn’t tell me what was going on. Then I came to this service in Greensboro. The gentleman at the front desk checked the codes with his computer, and instead of guessing, he calmly told me: “Just turn the key on, don’t start the engine, press the brake for 30 seconds, and it should reset.” I did exactly that,... read more
