This place is terrible. They told us it would take 3-4 hours for our repair. After 4 hours, we were told they were putting the truck back together and it would be maybe another hour. After 5 hours, they wouldn't answer their phone, and wouldn't answer our questions. One guy told us he would check and see what was going on, but he never came back. 7 hours we spent there, and the entire time the guys at the front counter were being VERY loud, telling personal stories and gossiping like a bunch of old biddies. Run, then run faster. It is hard to fathom that Volvo Trucks of North America would have this group as its US Headquarters Flagship Dealership. Vanguard's service department is crooked (they just make up gross charges -- I believe they refer to it as value billing), inept, and simply miserable to work with. If you disagree with them, they simply impound your equipment. There is no recourse other than the legal system. Vanguard is similar to working through an issue with the IRS.
