had the backyard buddy lift delivered back in November of 2024 been having issues with it since Advantage installed it the locks do not work i have been in communication with a Tony Weber out of the midwest he was on face time with my to look at what is called a T bar bracket they’ve supposed to have washers installed with the T bar brackets that where not installed so now when you raise and lower the lift you need Realistically, two people or a vice grip to hold the rod so it doesn’t move and the one lock that’s being held ... read more
In my experience, getting this company to respond for a sales quote is like pulling teeth. I sent two requests for a quote through their website. I finally received a short and curt response. I asked a question, then never herd back from them. Don't they want to sell their products? If the sales department is this poor at responding to inquiries, I am afraid to work with the support department if anything goes wrong.
When I placed the order there were no issues, the lift arrived at my garage in a brand new truck with my Back Yard Buddy strapped to the bed. The techs that assembled my lift did a fantastic job making sure my new paved driveway wasn’t damaged plus my floor that was finished with epoxy. Needless to say that I waited many years to have a lift in my garage so I was pretty excited when it arrived. BUT …. I don't recommend this company at all. Sold me a buy one carlift get the other half off deal. January of 2025. They made excuses after excuses why they couldn't get my lifts. Then they offered other lifts that where more money and would not get the same deal. I am sure I am not the only one that got scammed on this deal. Very disappointing. I finally got my money back in March of 2026.
I ordered a 2 post lift and a 4 post lift on 3/18/25. My lifts were installed the finally installed on 11/10/25. One leg on the 4 post lift is messed up and the casters will not install properly. Today is 3/17/26 and my lift is not repaired and I've talked to 2 different people with the company and I get different answers . This company is very disorganized and has very poor customer service!
