Ivan cleared up my lower back pain almost immediately and was able to identify the issues I was having. He’s a very nice guy, professional and conversational. If you want a massage with absolute silence so you can zen out, you should probably say so upfront. From what I’ve read, he has a ton of experience, and from way he worked on my body I could tell. I’m planning on going back to him with some shoulder issues I’ve got. I would recommend giving him a try.
Ivan fit me in right before a big trail race that I was stressed about. I had never had lower back pain or been to a massage therapist for pain issues. After the 60 min session my back was way less tight/painful and he fully explained the underlying issues going on. I had a great race the next day and made it to the finish of the Wasatch 100. He is a true master of the craft. Also, impressed for how much he has supported that race for over 25 years.
