I have used advanced telepsych for a few years now and want to warn anyone thinking of using them - DONT! I’m not going to throw prescribers names under the bus and dox them here but I will say this. I had an amazing person I saw at advanced telepsych for a few years. This person left and the office gave me no heads up, I ran out of meds and they set me up with a new prescriber who was terrible. As mental health provider, I can no longer in good faith recommend not refer to this practice. I have at least five patients over the course of the last year whose providers have left with no notification or poor notification via a backdated letter. Many individuals did not even have their appointments cancelled and showed up to their scheduled appointments only to not be seen when they showed up to the virtual appointment. I was seen by Mia Valorie PMHNP and my experience so far has been incredible. I feel seen and heard it's refreshing having a provider that can listen to you and advocate for you. I received the testing needed for a diagnosis and the start of medications as well. I'd recommend her 100x over. Thank you!
