I have been a patient of Dr. Brengman's for years and had numerous surgeries done by him. At first I wasn't a fan, but the longer I saw him the more respect I gained. I have a select few doctors that have followed and know my extensive medical history and he is one of them. He doesn't sugar coat stuff and he is no non sense. If you do what your supposed to you couldn't ask for a better doctor.
Four years ago Dr. Barker performed by Gastric Sleeve operation at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. He literally gave me my life back. The decision to have this operation was the best decision I have made. Dr. Barker was excellent through the entire process. I highly recommend him!!!! Thanks Dr. Barker!!!!
After changing my Drs from VCU to Dr. Shrouder, I had an amazing experience with this team! They were kind and explained the process to me every step of the way! The surgery process itself was simple, no complications. I am healing very well. I am 4 weeks post op on Tuesday. My gastric sleeve surgery date was 3-7-17. Wouldn't have changed my team for anything!!!
Dr. Brayman is a good doctor he gave me my life back he was the only one that was there for me the only thing I can say about him is he the best

Poorly run office. Every visit I have had with them (5+) I have had to wait over an hour to an hour and a half. Staff doesn't communicate with each other or staff. Front office staff is rude and loud. The nurse navigator was horrible and wouldn't call me back after I left 3 messages. Glad my surgery is over. Can't wait to be done with this place. Dr. Schroder was a good surgeon but only see him for a couple of minutes for a consult and before surgery. After that it is only the NP. I wish my insurance had a different choice f... read more
Front staff is highly unprofessional. Dr. Schroeder is good, but the front line staff can make or break the practice. Horrible. Just lost a client.
