I had my first post operative follow up appointment two weeks after surgery with Dr Verma. My surgery was an Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. Dr Verma explained the procedure in detail and let me know everything was proceeding well. I also appreciated the fact I can contact him anytime with questions or concerns. My husband went to see Dr. Verma . He seemed like a great doctor. The doctor recommended my husband proceed with surgery, in order to submit the referral to insurance they wanted a 500.00 deposit that would go towards submitting the authorization to the insurance and as well as the cost towards the surgery. My husband decided not to go thru with the surgery . We asked if we could have the deposit back and they said no. I had a great experience meeting Dr Verma. He reviewed my medical history and records for my back problem and explained the MRI in great detail. He also gave a detailed description of what’s going to be done during surgery and my expected recovery time. His staff was also very friendly, efficient and made the whole experience pleasant.
