They used to be really great (I started going to the Pasadena location back before it was a chain) but they're really going downhill. Now instead of cheese on your hot dog, they put a cheez-whiz type of sauce...and they forget the bacon on the Cowboy. And I paid good money for that? Even their onion strings aren't as good anymore. I guess they're a classic case of "now we have people liking us, we can use cheaper ingredients for the same price." I think I'll go check out Slaw Dogs.
The staff were very nice & friendly. Our hot dogs were great and made to order. Only complaint, they need some fans inside, since they have to keep keep the door open the a/c doesn't really cool down the dining area.
All I ever got was the Fonz, loved it. Italian sausage/pastrami dog and used to be mozzarella, now it's drowned in cheese whiz and it turned the Hawaiian bread into a wet sock by the time I took my first bite. Never going again.
