Poor communication by Dr Miglani. Her advice was too vague and indirect. Instead of saying, “Don’t attempt walking unless you have crutches. Don’t put any weight on it. You need to wear a boot or your foot won’t heal.” She said, “adjust stay off of it.” Went to a different Orthopedist at Mt Nittany after a month of suffering and was given ACTUAL help.

Sorry, but the first doctors care was so poor that it had delayed my healing by months. I really don’t appreciate the tone or demeanor of Dr Milani. I am sure she doesn’t remember me or care, but instead of being direct and telling me, “You need a boot, you need crutches or it won’t heal.” She said, “Just try to stay off of it.” When I finally gave in and asked for a boot, I couldn’t get another appointment for 3 weeks. I rate this location two stars instead of one because the actual service by the doctor and nurse were great when I was being treated there. The low rating is due to how things were handled once the bill came in the mail. I went in with a diagnosis from my primary care provider, and the doctor diagnosed me with something else. I got the bill almost a full year after the appointment, even though apparently insurance handled the case almost immediately after the appointment and the doctor's office didn't appeal the decision any... read more
