Tried to update my insurance and they hung up on me, twice. Also lied and said my old insurance policy was active. Charged me twice for a co-pay then said I never paid it. All staff members hound you to leave a Google review, yet drop the ball on things that are so simple. Psych nurse referred to taking medication as "popping pills." Super unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. Update: They called me back and insinuated that I was lying about being hung up on twice. I'm so angry at you people, this is asinine.
Very unprofessional. Canceled our appointment without telling us. No call backs. Demanded prepayment before time of service. Very unprofessional.
For 3 years I have been harassed by the billing department over deceptive billing practices. This business is 1) Fraudulent in its billing practices 2) Will engage in aggressive levels of harassment including threatening collections for amounts that it has not proven, or even attempted to show, that you owe. 3) Continue to harass you and demand payment after you have paid the billing office, again threatening to send to collections. De. Helmi is very disorganized! I do not recommend her. She called an hour early for our appointment, then called again an hour later. I asked for 2 things: usual 3 month renewal of online medication and to have 1 prescription sent where I was staying out of town. She didn’t do either. Her office staff was dismissive and unresponsive when I called. Each day I called, I was told this was going to be resolved. It’s been a week and I am giving up on Advanced Psychiatry Associates.
Some of the doctors are ok but my Dr Padilla is amazing
