I am an avid runner and came to see Dr. Purvin for some arch pain I was having after running. He is extremely thorough and was recommended to me by another runner friend. Happy to say that I was casted for orthotics and have had a great success with them. I brought my 10 yr old son to him as well for orthotics and other skin/nail issues. Very experienced and knowledgeable! Highly recommend.
I've gone to see Dr. Jay Purvin twice this past year. Once when someone accidentally kicked my toe and split my nail and more recently, for a very painful ingrown toenail,. The staff was friendly and I was taken in within five minutes to see the doctor. Dr. Jay was friendly and pleasant and was able to fix my foot issues with no pain. (which I was worried about)I am very happy with Dr. Purvin and would highly recommend him.
I recently brought my 5 year old daughter to Dr. Purvin because she had a piece of glass in her foot. Dr. Purvin handled my petrified daughter with gentle expertise and was able to eventually get this stubborn glass out of her foot. My daughter was not very cooperative and very scared making it hard for him to treat her. Dr. Purvin managed to keep her calm and treat her ever so gently.....he is a very experienced and gentle doctor.
Dr. Purvin is extremely knowledgeable and caring. There is no better podiatrist out there. He is conservative and will only do what's in your best interest. He is the godfather of biomechanics. If you need orthotics, he is the doctor. I wouldn't trust anyone else with me or my family.
