It was atrocious. The “pediatric dentist” telling a 5 year old they can’t move, (at increasing volume,) is not effective. “We won’t be able to do the procedure.” Was the end of our appointment. I figured this company would be competent in dealing with dealing with children’s dental work judging by the name. I was very wrong. Will not be returning under any circumstances.
My 4 year old had her first cavity filling at the Harrisburg office today and it was awful. We have never used this office before and normally go to Mechanicsburg where my experience has been fine. First, they apparently do not have a laser machine at this office that they have at the other ones which no one told me prior. So they give my 4 year old a shot of novacane and then she left to let it kick in. I came to this location two days in a row for my 3 children. The first day we were taken to a room to be told they wouldn’t be completing my 2 children’s fillings due to me making them aware at their cleaning months prior that their father had a reaction to a filling. This was after I already paid for the services. They told me my kids needed to see derm before they could proceed. Dental assistants were thorough and friendly. I'm so glad the office was able to accommodate 5 children in one visit. The stuffed animals with teeth to clean were a big hit even for my older kids while they waited to be seen. An unexpected urgent matter kept the dentist from seeing my children on time, however, he was phenomenal with all my children, he is knowledgeable and doesn't perform unnecessary treatment to earn an extra dollar.
