We had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Azzam’s office following my husband’s hospitalization at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center. During my husband's 2 week hospital stay, he was seen by Dr. Azzam’s PA, Anna Willis, who prescribed pain medication. We were told that there would be continuity of care after his discharge. However, when he was released with only five days of pain medication and we contacted the office for follow-up care, Dr. Azzam’s office refused to continue treatment. I’m giving this Dr two star rating because after three months in the hospital and rehab I was seen by him or someone in his office. Once I call to schedule an appointment I was told I needed a referral. I got the referral and continued to call to try and schedule. When I call back, I was told by one of the staff members that the staff felt uncomfortable on scheduling me so I needed to seek another pain management office. I had felt with this clinic last year while I was admitted for a fistula surgery had issues getting my medication when I got discharged my insurance reached out to them then and the clinic staff was super rude to them .
