Dr Whittum has 0 bedside manner. Patients first??? Not this Dr. Refused to do any surgery due to weight, lose a large amount (50 +) weight - Walks out of the room, with the door open “lose more” in a derogatory tone. I found a surgeon in Tri-Cities, who was encouraging and did both my knees. Beware I would not see this man again if he was the last surgeon on earth.

My first experience with Dr. Anderson at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine was to remove a cacerous tumor from a finger a number of years ago. I really liked his whole staff. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteo Arthritis. As my joints began deteriorating he continued treatment for me to retain my ability to work and regain my mobility through 1 shoulder reattachment, 2 knee repairs and eventually both knees replaced. Everyone is friendly. Dr. Anderson's office is not good at getting back to me. The hole time after surgery getting any pain meds has been difficult. He put me on one medication that makes me sick to my stomach, dizzy and a headache so bad it messes with my vision. I told them about it last week and they haven't prescribed anything different. I tried them over the weekend called them Tuesday morning because Monday was a holiday and told them they don't work for me. One week later they still haven't done anything. My shoulder ... read more
