COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS ALL AROUND. This office staff did not communicate effectively with radiology, or physical therapy, or us. Radiology called several times to get contrast orders, never got a response, and canceled a scan because of it. The office blamed the radiology place. They did not get the weight bearing status to the physical therapist after several requests. They blamed the physical therapist. First went to the office on January 8 requesting hyluranic acid shots for my knee. Insurance approved the shots and the specific medication. Insurance only needed Advanced Orthopedics to send them the order and sign the pre authorization. A few weeks went by. I left message after message expecting a “return call the same day” as the greeting noted. My insurance closed the pre authorization due to lack of requested documents. I am waiting to get my mother scheduled for a hip replacement, and they will not answer the phone. Showed up at 2pm on Friday and the doors were locked, even though online said 5pm close of business. What kind of office are you running?
