WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Had a house inspected through Advanced Inspections and I'm appalled at the nature of the report and incompetency of the inspector. The inspector was unable to locate a heat source for any of the rooms - the house has a boiler and he missed it. The areas are even labeled on the boiler itself. He wanted the owner to cut a hole in the ceiling so he could inspect the framing. The inspector damaged two areas of the house during inspection and acted like it didn't even matter. Absolutely the worst inspection I've ever seen! Peter Leighton had poor written articulation of issues, incorrectly referenced issues, issues were mixed with other items, areas were incorrectly defined, sewer was erroneously listed as septic, etc. The report was haphazard and careless. It was the absolute minimum effort required to call it an inspection. It was bad enough that he took several weeks to arrive and when he finalized the report it had so many issues that I had to have a second inspection! I've dealt with at leas... read more
After having my property inspected for a relocation, I question the inspector's competency and the otherwise careless compilation of the report. I regret hiring Advanced Inspections to inspect my property. I found and had to address 12 errors in the Advanced Inspections report, not including the poor grammar that made it challenging to figure out what was actually assessed and required.
