Had our 20 week ultra sound done. Their ultra sound machine was malfunctioning and only provided us with one picture the rest were blank, then the cd containing all the digital copies they sent us home with also was blank. How does an "advanced imaging center" have faulty imaging machines? Seems like they need to change their name to "outdated and sub-par imaging center"
OK.....went to the Sentara Lake Ridge facility for an X-ray, process took about 10 minutes total so all good right? Wrong. 7 Days later and no report sent to my primary. Got tired of waiting B/C way too long to read the imaging.....lucky for me, nothing urgent medically (I think) but if it was, I would be screwed. Called Sentara imaging and was told it will be 7-10 business days to get the report to my Primary (who is also Sentara) -- could be up to 16 calendar days even though they post 72 hours turnaround -- complete bait ... read more
I have been to the imaging center multiple times in the past year for both MRIs and X-rays. The entire front desk staff has always been very pleasant and attentive. The MRI and X-ray technicians that have performed my tests are all very professional and put me at ease. During my visit last week, I was called to the front desk with no waiting. I have no idea why the Imaging Center at Sentara Lake Ridge has such poor reviews. I go there a minimum of once a year. From scheduling to intake to the actual imaging it all goes so smoothly. Everyone is very nice and most of the time I am in and out in no time. Highly recommend the getting your CT, MRI, X-ray at Sentara of Lake Ridge.
My last experience at this center was dreadful with re: to the front desk access coordinator on 6/9/24.
