Friendly staff, however care is relatively impersonal. They serve a lot of people so don't expect them to give much priority to you. The reason for my 1-star rating is entirely the fillings I received. I've gotten fillings with several doctors in the past due to moving often. The three I received from Advaced Family Dentistey were simultaneously the most expensive, and the worst quality. Questioning the honesty of this practice. We were told our 2 sons had several cavities, which may not have been a big deal except for the fact that the dentist said one had 5 and the other had 7. Our kids are very good about brushing and flossing, and we eat very healthy as a family, so they rarely have sugar/sweets and don't even like soda. Questionable I have gone to the dentist every six months for 30 years now. I have never had a filling/cavity through those years. I went to Advanced Family Dentistry upon moving to Ankeny. They decided I needed 5 fillings and suggested orthodontics. I was very shocked and of course questioned it to myself. I did not return for my fillings as nothing in my mouth was bothering me. Fast and Friendly Not being a fan of going to the dentist, I was very pleased to be in and out in about a half hour. I only had to wait in the waiting room long enough to fill out my info. Dental assistant Michele was very friendly and gently while cleaning, just felt like getting my teeth brushed. Final check by Dr. Yegge was just as friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this dental office. In and out, no pain and very friendly staff.

Great place to go!! I’ve been attending Advanced Family Dentistry in Ankeny for over 20 years. My experience with Dr Brandt and his staff has been professional and competent. My children also use Advanced Family Dentistry even my son-in-law, there primary dentist is Dr Yegge and they have the same opinion, professional and competent. The facility is beautiful and they offer state of the art technology.

Caring and professional! I've always found this practice to be wonderfully caring and competent. I would bring any of my family members and friends here. Dr. Brandt is the best dentist I have ever known, and has a great sense of humor to boot!

Advanced Family Dentistry is the most professional dental practice in Ankeny Everyone there is very friendly and professional. My kids feel very comfortable and like going for there check ups Great office.

Doctors are rude, answer cell phone during operation Went to Advanced Family Dentistry a couple months ago for a crown. They have a machine there that makes it in one visit, but it ended up taking close to 4 hours between the doctor, I believe it was Yegge, constantly embarrassing his assistant (who I thought was doing fine) by attacking her about which way his tools were being handed to him-- and the doctor leaving the room THREE times to answer phone calls.
