I come here every 3 months for ERCP and every 6 months for colonoscopy. Everyone is always very friendly, competent, professional and take great care of me. Im a recently retired PA so I understand how it works . They are always great from appointments, reminders, directions, text, ease of check in, preop and postop nursing. Roberto of anesthesia and Sarah in preop were awesome. Of course Dr Sayana is making me feel human. Hes the best.
I had a very positive experience with all of the UHS staff and with the advanced gastroenterologist, Dr. Paul Kaimakliotis. Nurses Irene and Kassy were very patient, professional and attentive to my needs. They made me feel like a VIP!! The facilities are state of the art. This is my 4th encounter with UHS this year and I was pleased with each visit.
It is impossible to get any of these people on the phone and after four phone calls to get the Anesthesiologist set up because my circumstances were unusual and being assured with all four phone calls that there would not be a problem when I got to the hospital. I was delayed 30 minutes for my procedure because they refused to honor my wishes. I finally had to yell at the nurse. This is my body, and I want to speak to a patient advocate. My wife went in for a cerebral angiogram and every one was very caring and professional including the RN taking care of her after the procedure. I am sorry that I don’t remember her name but she was great. I give everyone involved a 10.
The prep staff was great. The procedure was fast and everyone took the time to explain the process as we moved forward. My only issue was the way things were handled when it was done. No one went out to speak with family or let them know it went well or answer any questions. I was originally told I would be taken to a room and released the following morning.
