5 hours for MOAS surgery. Patients are overbooked. Front desk didn't let me talk to a nurse when I asked her why it was taking so long. I informed them he was a diabetic and had not eaten. Will never return here.

I have been trying to make an appointment for surgery since April 2025 and no one knows what they’re doing. I get transferred from person to person leave messages everywhere. No one called me back. I just finished calling and I was told that the person who schedules  appointments works from home But cannot be contacted by Me in order to make an appointment. Is this ridiculous or what?  How can you run a medical office with a bunch of incompetent people? Thank God I don’t have cancer otherwise I would’ve been dead a long time... read more

I usually do not write reviews but I am so upset that I am addressing my experience at Deland’s Woodland Ave locations of as the treatment I received was far worse than disappointing. I arrived for my appointment 15-20 minutes late due to an uncontrollable and urgent medical issue. While the nurse practitioner, Amy Rutherford, was available and made aware of my situation she informed the staff that she would not see me for my appointment. Medical staff is great and very knowledgeable. The office staff, manager, area manager, billing department are horribly unresponsive, rude and not customer/client friendly. We have been dealing with a billing problem. We unfortunately paid at time of service instead of waiting for the claim to be processed. They took hundreds of dollars that will ultimately be refunded once they get their billing processes down. Worst appointment ever!! First time going here saw a PA, I have lots of things I wanted to talk about. The PA was just cold and didn't take but 2 mins with me. My appointment was at 8:20 they took me back at 8:25 ....I was dressed and in my car at 8:45 that how much time they gave me for a first appointment. Didn't even do a full body check. Awful Awful Awful experience My husband and I went in for a skin screening on the 21st of May 2024 . Here it goes: We show up for our appointment and we then realized that we accidentally brought the wrong insurance card so when we got in there we made sure that the receptionist that we brought the wrong card and that she needed to call the number on the back of the insurance card to verify coverages. Terrible practice. I tried 2 offices. The first is completely unsanitary, doing surgical procedures without even sanitizing hands and attempting to apply unclean dressings. Their billing is incorrect and they are uncooperative to work with for resolution. They have several BBB complaints on the same. Stay far away...

Perhaps I had been fortunate in having received excellent care in another state in comparison to the unprofessional, rude, assistants at this facility. I still am angry over the fact that a surgical site with a 3/4 inch opening ended up having a 2 inch sutured incision area on my face while receiving a post op dressing.
