Terrible practice. I tried 2 offices. The first is completely unsanitary, doing surgical procedures without even sanitizing hands and attempting to apply unclean dressings. Their billing is incorrect and they are uncooperative to work with for resolution. They have several BBB complaints on the same. Stay far away...
Perhaps I had been fortunate in having received excellent care in another state in comparison to the unprofessional, rude, assistants at this facility. I still am angry over the fact that a surgical site with a 3/4 inch opening ended up having a 2 inch sutured incision area on my face while receiving a post op dressing. A recently retired OR registered nurse of 35 years I am still appalled with the remarks provided me to general inquiries asked as I was evaluating whether to ever return for care with this establishment. My husband had five biopsies on February 14, 2024 we have called a total of 15 times to get the results. You always have to leave a message which says someone will call you within 24 to 48 hours. No one calls I even left a message with the office manager and she has not called all we want are the results, not recommended
I was given a skin biopsy on 1 Feb 2024 and was told it should take 7-10 business days for the pathology. I asked the PA if I should worry about these next 7-10 business days, and she said "yes". I called on business day 8 and they said, "you'll have it at the end of the week" then I called today, business day 12 and she said she would call the lab. I called in the morning and never heard back. It is now 16 days after my appointment and I have no idea if I have cancer.
Dr Young man is very professional. Highly recommend him.
I went to the new location in Casselberry FL. I had an evaluation to check for skin cancer on my face. I had a small sore that wasn't healing. They did a biopsy on a spot about a half inch from the actual sore. It turned out to be cancer. I went for my next appointment to get it removed and found out that they didn't get the initial sore and weren't planning to remove it. They did another biopsy and looked at it in house to determine it also was cancer. Then they wanted to remove both spots different days witch made no sense... read more
I walked in for my appointment and they had cancelled it without informing me. Do not do business with this group!
We had a HORRIBLE experience with our visit to Advanced Dermatology. We will not be back. It is unfortunate, because we just moved to Denver from Los Angeles. Finding a Doctor is challenging enough, then calling in and scheduling appointments can stretch out 5 - 6 weeks or more. The Doctor's visit itself was good. The doctors and physician assistants are wonderful and have a good bedside manner. But the front desk personnel? I was asked as I was checking into my appointment if I had a referral. I answered, "No, and there should be one on file". The woman said it had expired. I said that it would be nice if someone would let the patients know that they need a new referral. She said that is not their responsibility to inform patients of this (although they ask you as you walk in for your appointment. Is this too hard for them to give y... read more
