I was a referral from my cancer doctor and waited for almost an hour and a half ;while four people that came in after me were seen before me.When I asked about my appointment (9.45)was told it's surgery day and that there was three more ahead of me.I arrived early to do paper work(9.15)paid my co-pay;finally had enough and got it back then left. Sorry but my time is just as valuable as his,so I would not referral anyone to this office.
BEWARE. There is no parking. Suite 500 is a 20’x20’ room with no windows or ventilation and is as packed as an East Indian traincar. This Dermatologist triple- and quadruple-books patients so there will be 50 to 60 people in this tiny waiting room and you will be standing for most of the 90 minutes you will be waiting past your scheduled appointment. I have been seeing Dr. Miller for over 25 years and have always had the best experience. My family also sees him for any dermatology concerns. My questions and concerns are taken care of promptly. Very pleased and hope he never retires!
Took inordinate wait time to schedule appt. 12 mins. 26 sec. then two months to get appt. Must be a busy place!
Please consider this advice if you are considering making an appointment at AAD, and more specifically with Henry Roenigk. I was seen a year ago at AAD for removal of a cyst. I was told by Dr Roenigk that he should not have closed the wound and that he failed to provide an RX as an antibiotic. The work completed by AAD had to be reversed in the ER; I had to obtain treatment for an infection along with multiple visits to another provider to remedy the AAD errors. I've been a long term skin ca. patient & jad to use this practice as my usual Derm/ was not on my insurance plan. Each appt, Dr. Yungman did not do a complete skin cancer check up of which I need every 6 months. The last 2 times I was misdiagnosed regarding an area I had on my upper lip. The first time, he said it was Dermatitis of some sort and gave me some cream. The office staff is horrendous, after 6 months of continual treatment I could not take the incompetence anymore. The Drs. have all been very good and very competent. I knew if a particular person answered my call, I would be put on hold and never gotten back to, after 15-20 mins I'd call back. No matter how good the Drs. are, a poor office staff ruins the experience. I called 20 different offices ranging from Jax to Palm coast. They where the only office that talked to me like a human, (Brittany the receptionist) was very friendly and helpful. She got me in the next day on one of the cancellations even with being a first time patient there. I think the other lady was dr. Tiffany, she was very knowledgable and helpful.
