-Beware of this Service! We were charged almost $6,000 to transport our son from the ER to Lurie. We were told by the hospital their transport team was not available but they could call another ambulance. Little did we know it was a private ambulance, not in network, charging $6k to take a stable 2 year old to Lurie. We were never informed private ambulances are NOT part of the hospital, NOT likely in network, SET WHATEVER RATE they WANT and we have to pick up the DIFFERENCE!. BEWARE! LEARN from our STORY!
