A type one diabetic, I have always required prthotics. My experience with Hanger is frustrating at best. I have made at least 5 trips to there office. First the wrong shoes were ordered, the lack of quality in the shoes is flattening for the price, a good pair of shoes cost less elsewhere. Second, the wrong orthotic was corrected for calluses, then the holes made for the allowance on the second pair of orthotics were the size of a large plum and my whole foot slid into it. Advanced Brace was a huge service to me when my Doctor ordered a healing sandal for a Diabetic Ulcer. They were kind, professional and caring. The staff was pleasant and explained everything in clear non-medical jargon so I would understand. I was treated like a guest and not a customer. Should I ever need another device, Advance brace will be my only choice.
