I'm an LPN who applied for work at this business in June 2014. My immediate impression, upon walking into the facility was one of disappointment and lowered expectations. The front reception room was in total chaos. The personnel working the front desk and the stations projected frenzied atmosphere with an attitude of 'hitting the high spots'. Today was my first ever donation. I got there at 12:55pm & got out at 5pm, which is what I expected. New patients have to go thru the waiting for processing and a physical. You get asked the same questions over & over (do you have hepatitis, AIDS, tattoos, piercings, etc). The wait time between stations was about 10 mins...not bad. But be ready for a 4-5 hour deal if its your first, and from what I hear from the other donors, 3 hours for active donors. This place is a joke... They don't really even deserve the one star (had to give them at least one in order to post); they tell you that thier donors are heros, but treat them like crap. Let's be honest here folks...the people who go to these centers aren't going out of the goodness of their hearts, they go because they are broke and need the money. I went the first time and was told I couldn't donate because I had an abcessed tooth and was on antibiotics. They said to come back three days after my last dose. Never said anyt... read more
