Shop did an inspection costing $40, then withheld the sticker until I replaced all four brakes and rotors, because the mechanic said the pads were "to the metal." I examined the used parts and nearly all of them had plenty of pad left on them. I wrote the shop asking for my money back or a shop credit, and was ignored. I then wrote a complaint to the NH Dept. of Safety, who sent an inspector, finding that the shop inspector failed the front brakes unnecessarily.
