Both my cats and both my dogs do great at this vet!! We won't take them anywhere else now.
We have been going to a branch of AAC for years and we continue to have issues with this office. We take our senior dog with multiple health issues to the vet multiple times a year plus to Medvet in Cincinnati and yet this is the only this office that we have any issues. They don't maintain proper records or do all the things we ask for them to in an appointment. They are unhelpful, unsympathetic, and very frustrating. Do not bring your pet here.
I have had great experiences with emergency department in the past. However, my visit today… I took a dog in with fleas and let the doctors know that I had two cats at home and I asked for treatment until I could get them into their visit. No suggestions on what to do, I even asked what I could do at home, no direction. They didn’t have anything to give (sell) me in their office and they wouldn’t give me anything for the cats knowing That they possibly had fleas. I was going to buy. 10/10 recommend everyone at AAC but especially our tech- Tessa! She went above and beyond for us this week in a time we truly didn't know what to do or where to start! — so kind, patient, and attentive every step of the way. You can tell she truly loves what she does and cares deeply about the animals she helps. She made my pup (and me!) feel so comfortable and cared for. I’m so grateful for her and couldn’t recommend her and our friends at AAC more! 🐶💛
All staff at both the Richmond general and emergency locations are wonderful. Dr. Poynter and Courtney are absolutely phenomenal with my Reggie and I’m so grateful to them for their care and kindness.
