I have gone to Dr. Rao for a couple of years. I now have my asthma under control. Any time I go to his office, I am in on my appointment time and he takes time to listen to what I have to say. Other doctors seem to have you on an assembly line, I dont feel that way about Dr. Rao. I will continue to see him to proactively manage my asthma. I would and do recommend him to my friends and family.
I am not normally a big fan of surveys; however, I felt the need to offer my opinion regarding Dr. Vivek Rao, after reading the previous responses. I turned to the internet to find a physician to treat my allergies and asthma in the Midland/Odessa area. I must admit that I was reluctant to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rao after reading the previous comments. I was referred to this doctor by a friend and I regret to say that I refuse to go see a doctor who spends 2 hours repeating himself over and over. The doctor tried to go from one room to another leaving his patients hanging for hours. His staff was very courteous and prompt. I was told by the friend who referred me, that he has issues keeping staff for one reason or another. (This too, tells me alot about a person when no one cares to work for them.) Called this office about 3 weeks ago.Receptionist? told me I had an appointment for 1:30 on Tues. Called them Monday before the appointment & they couldnt find an appointment had been made but they did find the preliminary info on the patient. I had even told my boss about this appointment the day I made it & it was on her calender for Tues. at 1:30.
