We visited this motel 2days ago. The guy was bit rude we emailed him that we coming from Melbourne and will be at motel 30mins early so just wana check if we can check in. But no response. We reach there and said come back 1:50pm, again we called Gery he said still 10mins to check in and he didnt received any msg from us. No one was cleaning the room and He told us room is not ready. We booked last minute. Reasonably priced and did the job. Travelling from Melbourne, we booked this to go to snow at Dinner Plain. My recommendation would be to stay somewhere in Bright/Myrtleford as you can get to the mountains quicker. Overall this motel does a decent job. Room could have been vacuumed and refreshed on the 2nd day, but was not done. Air con stops working randomly and has to be restarted.

Advance Motel more like Average Motel, now don’t get me wrong you don’t expect much from budget accommodation but at least clean towels and sheets upon arrival would be nice. Firstly the towels were dirty, my bed had dead bugs and a lovely nice dirt footprint to greet me. The shower whatever you do don’t use the shampoo provided, it says orange citrus. But all it is, is that bright pink hand wash you find in every soap dispenser in every road house along the Hume. The local watch house is probably more comfortable than this ... read more
