Disappointed about battery purchase I visited this auto parts store to purchase a battery for my chevy HHR. I had heard about the bad service at this location but figured it was just hear say and decided to stop in to purchase a battery. I noticed on there sign when I walked in that they install car batteries for free. I told them the kind of carl I had and told them I needed the battery for it and that I would like it installed (after waiting for someone to help me for 10 minutes). Desperate for A/C parts We had a problem with our A/C while visiting in Evergreen, Co. After checking several parts stores for a compressor, we called your store in Golden. We were served by Jeff who was most efficient. He got the parts sooner than expected (same day, the 4th of July no less) then called to let us know they were in. Excellent! My son and grandson were stranded in Sunbury, OH and Gary at Advanced Auto Parts took a belt to my son and even helped him put it in!! This is the type of service that I admire, and Gary went above and beyond what I asked of him. Excellent!! Finding Auto parts I love the fact it shows different locations but also a pic of where it is in real time.
my compliant i bought a battery from them less then 8 mos ago and somehow its not in there computers. they wont make good on the warrenty and there only responce to me was i wish we could help you but you got a core charge there and were glad to sell you another battery. Why did i go and spend all that extra money on the extended warrenty if i can't use it. it's not my fault it got gone out of there computers. If its not made right, i may never go to advance auto again over this extremely disappointing incident.
service ask for tony, the only one there that has a clue on fixing cars and car parts, the rest need their computer or they cant help you.
