From the company policy to product to service, I would not recommend Advanced Auto Parts and try another store. I couldn't get the car battery from them to start. I called a tow guy jumped it and we made it halfway down the block before it shut off and I had to call the same tow guy to get my car to a shop. At White Dog Auto, they tested and charged it overnight and still couldn't get it working properly and tested it, determining it was a defunct battery. I recently purchased a new battery here hoping they would be able to replace my old one but due to the placement of my battery it needed to be professionally done (which i had anticipated). The team member helping me was extremely helpful and kind. He even called somewhere for me to make sure someone was able to replace the battery and carried the new one out to my car for me! Went in to get my battery tested at the Iowa City location, as I was having issues and knew it was time for a replacement. The older gentleman, Jeffrey seemed annoyed the minute I asked for help. Doing my own basic car work with experienced men for years, I explained the issue & tried to communicate things up front-- this guy refused to listen & absorb anything I said.
