So I purchased a $20 set of 1/2” locking lug nuts from Advance Auto Parts. Unfortunately I tried to install them and found out I needed M12 not 1/2”. I returned a neatly opened package with the receipt and was told “I can’t take this back, I would have to eat it”. This has never happened to me with Amazon or O’Reillys,. In this day and age of hyper competitive retail realities, Advance Auto Parts just lost a customer for life. Terrible. Horrible. And I knew better than to even GO IN there!!!! I usually only use Advance for car wash soap or stuff out on the floor that doesn't require asking their counter help to do anything. They don't hire car people. But, I made an exception and decided to go ask for two fuel filters I knew they'd have to look up and bring to the counter. Now I did all the hard work for them.
