Disappointed about battery purchase I visited this auto parts store to purchase a battery for my chevy HHR. I had heard about the bad service at this location but figured it was just hear say and decided to stop in to purchase a battery. I noticed on there sign when I walked in that they install car batteries for free. I told them the kind of carl I had and told them I needed the battery for it and that I would like it installed (after waiting for someone to help me for 10 minutes). Desperate for A/C parts We had a problem with our A/C while visiting in Evergreen, Co. After checking several parts stores for a compressor, we called your store in Golden. We were served by Jeff who was most efficient. He got the parts sooner than expected (same day, the 4th of July no less) then called to let us know they were in. Excellent! My son and grandson were stranded in Sunbury, OH and Gary at Advanced Auto Parts took a belt to my son and even helped him put it in!! This is the type of service that I admire, and Gary went above and beyond what I asked of him. Excellent!! service ask for tony, the only one there that has a clue on fixing cars and car parts, the rest need their computer or they cant help you.

Very rude cashier tried to buy windshield wipers, and the clerk threatened not to accept my visa card. the card was in my wife's name, (debit card), and after I showed her my license twice, she made it out to be some big favor she was going to do for me.I'll never shop there again. Store was dirty, boxes of merchandise all over the floors waiting to be put away still at 3:30pm. *Johnny, the guy that put my windshield wipers on for me was nice though! he did a great job.PS - you can buy better wipers and they'll put them on t... read more
