Was in the Bay Area around 01/18/25, I visited the San leandro location after waiting an hour for them to open. I can only imagine that the unwillingness and lack of helpfulness of the employees toward me, in an uncrowded business, was primarily do the fact that the store was closing down... I thought I would pick up a few items to resell them, but the employees were not very interested in searching for them on the COMPUTER!!! one worker didn't mind letting me know he was due for a break. Will never buy anything from any advanced auto parts again. Bought a part I didn’t end up needing- didn’t even open the packing or anything & have the receipt as well. Supposedly advanced auto parts are shutting down & all sales are final, even if you bought something out of the box defective they will not help you. First time in my life I ever seen this happen. DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT ANY ADVANCE AUTO PARTS STORES- I even asked if I was able to get store credit for the part and was denied on that request as well. They are thi... read more
