My check engine light came on, I had the oil changed next day-it was well overdue. Changed my oil status on dashboard- the light didn't turn off so I came to Advance Auto Parts asked them to check the code for me. We went out to my car, he plugged the reader in and immediately said it wasn't working that I'd need to take it to a dealer no more information. Bought a battery for several hundred dollars. It failed after a while and was replaced. THAT battery was worse than the first one and failed after a couple of months. AAP refused to honor the warranty saying they only replace items ONCE no matter how many fail. That's selling junk and replacing it with junk.
