A car battery that was installed by an Advance Auto parts employee in my vehicle in March 2025 caused my check engine light to come on 6/25/25. I took my vehicle to Advance Auto on 6/26/25 and the employee said the battery was good and the alternator was bad and that I need to take my vehicle to the dealership. When I took it up to the dealership they said the battery had a bad cell and the alternator was good. Since they had to test the alternator I was charged a $186.00. They helped me with an issue with my Honda Odyssey. Very knowledgeable and friendly!
All I needed was to have someone check my battery. There were three employees total, and only one was servicing customers in the parking lot. There were three cars/customers that arrived after me, and we’re all serviced although I was not even spoken to yet. I did remind the employee in the parking lot that I was still waiting in which vehicle I was waiting in. I was told they would get to me. Truck was having trouble starting, brought it to have the battery and alternator tested. Chris came out in the rain and helped diagnose the issue and saved me half my mortgage payment in parts to try and get my truck fixed. Chris was professional, friendly and actually cares about the customers, can’t thank him and this location enough.
These ppl here TIME AND TIME AGAIN always help. Always willing to give their time.
