RecommendedTonight, 11/29/19, my son and his family were on their way back to Ohio and two hours from our home when their car broke down. They pulled into the Advance store on Norris Freeway in Rocky Top 10 minutes before closing and there was a young man who went out of his way to help them anyway he could. He helped them find a tow truck and checked on them till we could get there. They forgot to get this his name but he said he had only been there a year. This store needs to have their staff go to automotive training. In addition, had a part fail and Thanks to the staff I will not be purchasing ANY PARTS from ANY Advanced auto parts location. Thanks to this store, I found more knowledgeable staff at NAPA in Clinton, TN. I can actually get the right part the first time and the staff at NAPA is not telling me how to jerry rig my vehicle.
On 3/29/17 my husband driver side brake caliper locked up on I75 south, he pulled of into this stores parking lot at 9:05 pm. Knocked on door and the employee said we're closed and would not help him or call a manager to see if they could help him and sell him the parts he needed. Mind you he is in a F250 pulling a 38 Ft camper on his way to a job down south. The employee and management sat and stood in the parking lot and talked till 10:09 pm.
