I went to buy some antifreeze and asked the employee which one was right for a Suzuki GSX-R. He told me to look it up on the internet, left me alone with my wife, and walked out the door to the parking lot to talk to a friend, leaving the shop unattended. I ended up having to leave; he never came back inside.

Very disappointed with Advance Auto Parts and how they handle their warranty process. I purchased a steering box costing over $600 a few years ago and was told that purchases could be looked up through their system if needed. Since I work on the road, I relied on that information. Now I’m being told that without the original paper receipt, there is nothing they can do. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Advance Auto Parts regarding a warranty issue. Several years ago, I purchased a steering box from Advance Auto Parts for over $600. At the time of purchase, I was told that the warranty information would be available through the Advance Auto Parts system and that any store should be able to look up the purchase if needed.
