I arrived an hour before they closed to get a car battery. Larry attended to me and performed the cold crank test, which indicates whether the battery is good or bad, as well as a voltage test. The voltage was 12 volts due to the battery being jumped five minutes earlier, but it failed the cold crank test. I needed a new battery. He explained that since I came so close to closing time, he couldn't install the battery, as it would leave only one worker in the store—two workers are required.
