My grandmother is on hospice. I already had a hospital bed from Dasco. Hospice discussed getting a bed through them so I'm not paying $10 a month. I was like okay, so they tell me Advacare will deliver today. The delivery guy gets here. Seems nice and he starts to bring in the bed frame and set it up. Most unprofessional company I have had to deal with in a very long time. Called my mother at approximately 830AM on 20 April to confirm a delivery. When she hadn’t heard from delivery person by 400PM, my mother called Hospice for help-person that called her that morning didn’t give her a phone number, and mom wanted to know where the delivery person was. At 815PM (approximately 12 hours after first phone call informing of delivery) we received another call stating delivery would be in 20 minutes. No one ever showed up. On 21... read more
Absolutely the worst operated business in the country. Delivery system is by far the worst set up ever. Forgot parts to a bed we ordered so promised it for the next day. Today is next day! Just called them at noon and they tell me it will be after 6:00 pm. You would think if they blew the delivery the day before, you would become a priority!! Nope not happening. Extremely disappointed!!! My mother is bedridden and needed the bed to be in my home prior to her discharge. We were told they would be here between 8:00am and noon. I had to call and ask them where they were. They explained the driver got backed up so he would be here by 2:00. He called and said he would arrive in 30 minutes and this was at 2:45 pm.
