I'm kicking ADT to the curb and ripping out all of their equipment. I have had a chirping sound every 15 seconds for the last 6 days and can't get a service technician to come out and fix it. First they sent me to some guy in Mumbai who I could not understand. Then the Chat onlline tried to tell me how to fix it myself. Nope. Then they were going to do a zoom with a technician but they have not reached out to contact me. For the amount of money I pay, it's ridiculous! I can't sleep at night and it's driving my dogs crazy.
ADT clearly fails as a company with their miserable quality, high price, and poor service
ABSOLUTELY HORRID SERVICE AND IF YOU TRY TO LEAVE THEY MAKE YOU PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR IT. WE HAD THEM FOR 8 YEARS AND EVERY TIME THEIR EQUIPMENT FAILED THEY WANTED TO CHARGE US AN UNGODLY AMOUNT TO SEND SOMEONE OUT TO FIX THEIR STUFF. SO WE FOUND ANOTHER COMPANY AFTER 8 YEARS OF AUTO PAY OF $77.52 AND NOT BEING ABLE TO ARM OR USE THE SERVICE FOR OVER 6 OF THOSE YEARS, WE FINALLY HAD HAD ENOUGH AND LEFT. I switched my home alarm system to ADT in about the second week of January 2025. Installer Dawson assured me that if the power went out the “battery” would keep the system working….and reboot itself. Two weeks later the power DID go out. I got an AC/CELLULAR FAILURE that came with constant beeping, keeping me awake for two nights. And it’s STILL beeping! On my FIRST call to ADT they said I needed a new router. Got that but it didn’t solve the problem. SECOND call…agent had me “follow her directions” on the panel. Didn’t help... read more
