I’m disappointed in the equipment received. Customers should know what they are expected to pay when transferring service. I will be canceling when my contract is complete. Since they have been in business so long, they won’t miss one customer.

Their job isn’t to provide good customer service. Their job is to keep your money. Just like any other corporation. You’re better off buying your own camera that has plans on their app. Find another security service. The customer service people lie to you. I was told I would receive a credit on equipment that was taken from me. They said they escalated and got approval to give me a credit or return the equipment. HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. Keep hanging up on us for telling them we no longer need their services and filed a 2 year plan and they say we filed for 5 wont show us proof of our “contract” and keep hanging up. Ridiculous.

I called ADT Security today because I am looking at switching from my current security provider. Our current system has not worked properly since day one, and we have been extremely unhappy with the service. When I spoke with the representative, I explained upfront that I was still under contract with my current provider but that I already knew the cancellation cost and had no problem paying it because we wanted to move forward with a better system.
