Very deceptive company, never verbally told about contract, will not recommend this company. I feel they take advantage of the elderly because they sure did with my mom. The representatives are also very rude and argumentative
Absolutely atrocious customer service. I was lied to when I was being sold my system. The salesman said I could cancel the $40 ongoing fee and just use the cameras. He lied about the cameras being able to record once the service is canceled as well. When I asked for a refund on a service I couldn’t figure out how to cancel, they told me I was stuck with the cameras I no longer need nor will they refund the service that I never wanted. Got signed up after a door to door salesman asked if we needed a home security system a couple of months after we moved in. My husband had been thinking about getting one of these prior to moving in so we were happy to sign up. However, after completing our 36 month contract I have to say I would not recommend this service to anyone I know. Holy flipping cow! Please don’t EVER use ADT as your home security company. They improperly installed our system. The security system would not allow us to arm it due to a door being ajar which was not ajar. We have yet to even arm the thing. I contacted ADT today after 2 false fire alarms went off and ADT contacting my husband. I requested a refund since the system has made us feel everything but secure. Our a d t system is a joke fails all the time.They blame our internet that we have had tested multiple times and it's the highest around would not recommend.This company would not even give one star.
